The Brief
The content marketing team was trapped in manual copy-paste distribution cycles. Each comprehensive research essay took three weeks to distribute across secondary channels.
Format inconsistencies degraded brand presentation across professional platforms. We needed a systematic workflow to scale distribution without expanding headcount.
What I Did
Central Markdown Repository
We migrated all primary drafts into structured, version-controlled Markdown templates. Standardized metadata fields tagged each piece by ICP persona, stage, and channel.
Automated Asset & Hook Extraction
We built automated scripts that generated visual carousels and micro-posts from parent essays. Key statistics and pull-quotes were parsed directly into social card dimensions.
Multi-Channel API Syndication
We connected publication feeds directly to LinkedIn, Substack, Medium, and syndication webhooks. Editorial review remained human-supervised, but delivery mechanics ran completely automated.
The Numbers
Time tracking and pipeline attribution calculated from ClickUp and HubSpot CRM sources.
| Operational Metric | Before Pipeline | After Pipeline | Net Impact |
|---|---|---|---|
| Distribution Hours / Article | 18.5 hrs | 4.0 hrs | -78.3% |
| Syndicated Social Impressions | 45,000 | 280,000 | +522.2% |
| Quarterly Inbound Pipeline | 85 leads | 410 leads | +382.3% |
| Publishing Regularity | Unpredictable | Twice weekly | 100% on schedule |
What I Would Do Differently
I would have set stricter formatting constraints on source data tables. Irregular table schemas occasionally required manual adjustments during syndication.
